Why do I have to check with SSA that my Ticket is assignable?

Your Ticket to Work can only be assigned to one Employment Network at a time.  If you have registered with NTI and decided we are the program for you, you will need to confirm your Ticket is not assigned to another organization. You can do this by calling the Ticket To Work on 866-968-7842. The Ticket To Work hotline


You can also ask your Job Coach, once you have one, to check this for you, but they will need your Social Security number.  If you have a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor, it is possible your ticket is already assigned to them, and so you would want to discuss your options with them before continuing.
