2. How will NTI contact me?
NTI may contact you through any of the contact information you provided on your registration. This may include email, phone calls, postal mail, or text message.
We will NEVER request personal or sensitive information via text message.
If you have any specific questions or concerns about how NTI will contact you or the legitimacy or any communications you have received, don't hesitate to reach out to us for clarification.
3. Can NTI work with people from any location?
NTI can work with individuals from the continental United States. Unfortunately, we are unable to assist residents of Alaska, Hawaii, or any U.S. territories.
4. How do I know NTI is a reputable, real disability organization?
NTI is an Employment Network (EN) approved by the Social Security Administration's Ticket to Work program. We've been an EN in good standing for almost 30 years.
We provide our job services at no charge to people with disabilities. Our funding comes from the companies that hire our candidates, and from the government. We are paid only when our clients find jobs and keep them.
Visit our resource section to browse news articles written about us or by us. Or Google the Ticket to Work official site and search the EN Service Provider directory for "NTI at Home."
5. What kind of nonprofit organization is NTI?
NTI is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit disability organization that has helped Americans with disabilities find work-at-home positions since 1995. The "Mission & History" section of our website contains more detailed information.
6. Did NTI receive my registration?
After you submit a completed registration (and upload a resume, if you have one), you’ll receive an automatic confirmation sent to the email address you typed in your registration. Keep in mind that a typo in your email address will prevent this email from reaching you.
The email contains your application ID number, and a link to complete a video assessment. Prepare for your assessment by reading our tips.
If you don’t receive a confirmation from donotreply@NTIcentral.org, check your junk folder to see if it was marked as spam. If you find the confirmation email in there, make sure to mark the email as “not Spam” so you get future emails from NTI.
If you did not get an email, we probably did not receive your registration. You can email Info@nticentral.org or call (877) 248-8912 to confirm your registration was received. If it wasn’t, we may ask you to register again.
7. Is the NTI website secure for submitting personal data in my application?
Yes, our website is secure. When you register, you fill an online form using a secure service provided by Taleo, Inc. You will notice the address for the web page in your browser change from NTIcentral.org to tbe.taleo.com while you complete the registration forms. This is normal and no cause for concern.
NTI protects all the information we collect from you and uses it only to process your registration or update your progress through the hiring process.
8. Why do I need to take a video assessment?
We want to know about you, your skills, your experiences. We’ve found that the best way to do that is to have you talk about yourself, in your own words. This is NOT a test, and you can't fail! It’s a way to tell us what step to guide you toward next as you explore returning to work. Learn more about the video assessment.
9. If I have a disability or health issue that prevents me from taking a video assessment, can NTI offer me an alternative?
Yes, there are alternatives available. If you have a problem that prevents you from taking a video assessment, please contact us at (877) 248-8912 to discuss what will work best for you.
